Dianne Kuhn, New Emeritus Member

Island Health Foundation honors board member, Dianne Kuhn, with prestigious Emeritus membership. Emeritus members are deemed by fellow board members to have provided particularly notable and significant contributions to the Foundation and Island Health.

Desiring to impact the health and wellness of her community, in 2005 Dianne began her involvement with Island Health by serving on the capital campaign committee to build the “new hospital” where the Acute Care and Intensive Care Units currently reside.

Following the conclusion of the campaign it was a natural fit for Dianne to join the Foundation’s Board of Directors where she served two, six-year terms (2007-2012 and 2017-2022). During her tenure, she served as President twice (2011, 2019) and subsequently served on the Foundation’s Executive Committee as Vice President and Past President twice.

In addition to her leadership on the Executive Committee, Dianne has volunteered on the Gala of Hope planning team focusing on cultivating event sponsorships, chaired the Foundation’s Governance Committee and has been a steadfast source of wisdom and encouragement. It is a privilege to honor such a genuine leader with the Emeritus distiction for the Foundation Board of Directors.
